The goal is that one day horse and rider are together like one.

What makes Eagle Feather Riding different?

  • EFR is a special place, centered on the well being of the horse. The horses live on 80 acres of sacred land in the most natural way possible with access to run and move freely as a herd.

    When you arrive at EFR, you will be greeted warmly by people who care deeply for these horses. With an emphasis on the connection between horse and rider, beginning riders are co-piloted by more experienced riders. Volunteers are the basis of all EFR programs, making EFR a very special place indeed!

    The majority of our riders ride bareback to enhance the relationship between the rider and their horse. This kind of riding is slower and focuses on connection and might be different from other types of riding
    facilities in the area.

  • Once availability has been confirmed (by return email) the following forms will be provided for enrollment:

    *Completed Registration Form

    *Signed Waiver Form

    *Signed Media/Photo Release Form

    *Post dated cheque or e-transfer (sent to eaglefeatherriding@gmail.com) for the 1st of each month .

  • Forms to must be received prior to start of lessons and can be sent by email or hand delivered to EFR .

Important Dates

  • No Classes Victoria Day Weekend

    There will be no classes on Sunday May 18th and Monday May 19th.

  • Fall Registration for New Riders June 18th

    Registration for new riders will take place via email on Wednesday, June 18th.

  • Last Day of Classes is Thursday, June 19th.

    The last day of riding classes for the 2024-2025 season is Thursday, June 19th.
